P.N. Ravindran, J.—The petitioner is a former employee of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the `KSRTC'' for short). He retired from service on 31.3.2010 while he was working as Assistant Transport Officer in the KSRTC. This writ petition is filed seeking expeditious payment of DCRG and commuted value of pension on the ground that the petitioner has to clear off the liability incurred by him in connection with marriage of his daughter that was solemnized on 10-9-2006.

Sri. V.V. Nandagopal Nambiar, the learned standing counsel appearing for the KSRTC, submits that if after enquiry the Corporation is satisfied that the petitioner has to clear off the liability incurred by him in connection with the marriage of his daughter that was solemnized on 10.9.2006, the Corporation will take steps to pay DCRG and commuted value of pension to the petitioner overlooking priority.

In such circumstances, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to enquire into the genuineness of the claim made by the petitioner for out of turn payment of DCRG and commuted value of pension and to make such payment within two months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment, if the claim of the petitioner is found to be genuine.
