K. Surendra Mohan, J.—The petitioner has appeared for the 5th semester regular examination of B.Com Finance, during November 2013. He has submitted an application for the revaluation of two papers. According to the petitioner, he has submitted the application on 28.05.2014. He seeks for the issue of appropriate directions for an expeditious revaluation of those papers. According to Sri. V.V.Nandagopal Nambiar, the petitioner has been granted an admission to a Post Graduate Diploma Course in the Rajagiri School of Management. He has also paid the fees. If the revaluation is delayed, there is a chance of the petitioner losing his admission as well as his fees.

The learned Counsel for the University submits that, the last date for submitting applications for revaluation is 30.05.2014. The papers of petitioner''s could sent for revaluation only after the last date for submission of applications is over. It is submitted that all similar applications for revaluation would be considered together. Therefore, a period of 45 days is necessary for completing the process of revaluation, from the last date for receipt of applications. However, he assures that the revaluation process would be completed as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to complete the revaluation process of the petitioner''s answer papers, as expeditiously as possible and to publish the results within an outer limit of 45 days from 30.05.2014.
