Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant was placed under suspension on 20.05.2022 after an FIR No. 54/2022 was filed against the applicant under NDPS Act in Police Station Uri. He further submits that neither the suspension order was reviewed nor any allowance has been paid to the applicant.

Learned counsel for the applicants fairly submits that it will suffice if the direction is issued to the respondents to review the suspension of the applicant and pay the subsistence allowance of the applicant during his suspension period in accordance with law within a stipulated time.

Mr. Waseem Gul, GA appears for the respondents.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the applicant, the respondents are directed to review the suspension of the applicant and at the same time pay the subsistence allowance of the applicant during his suspension period in accordance with law within four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

With this O.A. No. 461/2024 is disposed of accordingly.
