Judgment
Biswajit Palit, J
Learned Senior Counsel Mr. S. Sarkar assisted by Mr. K. D. Singha, Learned Counsel and Mr. A. Jamatia, Learned Counsel is present for the appellant.
Learned Addl. P.P. Mr. R. Saha is present for the State-respondent.
As ordered earlier today Learned Addl. P.P. has produced the Case Diary.
At this stage Learned Addl. P.P. referred one citation of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Kasireddy Upender Reddy vs. State of Andhra Pradesh and Ors. reported in 2025 SCC OnLine SC 1228 and on the other hand Learned Senior Counsel Mr. S. Sarkar has also referred one citation of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Pankaj Bansal vs. Union of India and Others reported in (2024) 7 SCC 576.
Heard both the sides.
Some questions of law are involved in this matter and some more legal exercise has to be done on the subject matters in issue. So considering all, order is reserved today.
List this matter on 04.07.2025.
In the meantime the interim bail granted to the accused-appellant is extended till the next date.
CD be returned back to the I.O. through Learned Addl. P.P. with a further direction to re-produce it before the Court on 02.07.2025 positively.
