In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release all the service and pensionary as well as other financial benefits of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although the claim of the petitioner for grant of retiral benefits has been accepted but the same has not been released.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide the legal notice dated 15.07.2025 (Annexure P-4) served by the petitioner in a time-bound manner.

Ms. Neha Sonawane, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents and she does not oppose the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.
In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the legal notice dated 15.07.2025 (Annexure P-4), served by the petitioner within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
