By way of the present petition, the petitioner has sought the following substantive reliefs:

“a. That the respondents may kindly be directed to transfer the petitioner from present place of posting i.e. G.S.S.S. Kungal Balti, Education Block Nankhari, Tehsil Rampur, District Shimla, H.P., to any one of the station mentioned in Para 5 of the petition as well in representation/reminder Annexure P-2.

b. That the direction may be issued to respondent to consider representation/reminder (P-2).”

The above reliefs have been sought on the ground that the petitioner has completed his normal tenure in the remote/rural area and as per the Transfer Policy of the State Government, he is entitled to be adjusted at the place of his choice, as mentioned in para-5 of the writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already made representation dated 18. 10.2022 (Annexure P-2) to respondent No.2, for his transfer. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to the respondents to decide his representation in a time bound manner.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated 18.10.2022 (Annexure P- 2) within a period of three weeks from today.

The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
