Judgment
Jaswant Singh, J.—Crl. M. No. 39702 of 2010 seeking exemption to file certified/typed copies of Annexures is allowed.

Prayer in this petition u/s 482 Cr.P.C., is for seeking protection to life and liberty of both the petitioners, who are stated to be major and have performed marriage on 6.7.2010 against the wishes of parents and relatives (respondents No. 4 to 13) of petitioner No. 1-wife. Having performed marriage against the wishes of aforesaid respondents, now petitioners apprehend threat to their life at the hands of said respondents. It is further stated that the couple is residing at H. No. B-15/118/2, Sunder Nagar, Pathankot, whereas the private respondents are residents of H. No. 259, Shiv Ji Nagar, Gali No. 1, Dhangu Road, Pathankot,Tehsil Pathankot, Distt.Gurdaspur.
After hearing the learned Counsel for the petitioners and keeping in view the directions issued by the Hon''ble Supreme Court in the case of Lata Singh Vs. State of U.P. and Another, , the present petition is disposed of with a direction to petitioners to present themselves before SSP, Gurdaspur, and to make a detailed representation expressing therein their grievance and threat perception. In case, any such representation is made, the SSP concerned shall look into the matter personally and take appropriate action, if so warranted in accordance with law.
Petition stands disposed of.
