Present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 15 dated 05.01.2022, under Sections 18, 25 and 29 of NDPS Act registered at Police Station Assandh, District Karnal.
Vide order dated 25.03.2022, this Court while granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail directed the petitioner to join investigation.
On instructions, learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no longer required.
In view of the above, the petition is allowed. The order dated 25.03.2022 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall abide by the conditions of Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
