Notice. Mr. Pushpender Jaswal, learned Additional Advocate General and Ms. Shreya Chauhan, learned Counsel, appear and waive service of notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 and 2, respectively. Notices are not being issued to the proforma respondents as their interest is akin to that of the petitioner.
By way of the present petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:-
“In the aforesaid facts and circumstances and submissions it is most respectfully prayed that this Honourable Court may be pleased to allow the present petition and the period of completion of Arbitral proceedings in case No. 930/2016 may kindly be extended by twelve months in the interest of justice and fair play.”
The Court stands informed that in similar matters, i.e. in Arbitration Case No. 126 of 2022, titled as Sh. Ram Chand vs. Land Acquisition Officer and another and other connected matters, decided on 01.12.2022, this Court has been pleased to dispose of the said petitions by granting extension to the learned Arbitrator to decide the arbitration proceedings up to 30th June, 2023.
Accordingly, this petition is also disposed of by observing that the findings which have been returned by this Court in Arbitration Case No. 126 of 2022, titled as Sh. Ram Chand vs. Land Acquisition Officer and another and other connected matters, decided on 01.12.2022, shall ipso facto be construed to have been passed in the present petition also.
