This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass order on Ext.P1 representation. It is the complaint of

the petitioner that, an extent of 4 cents of land in Sy.No.469/1 and another 4.750 cents of land in Sy.No.401/1 of Edathua Village is 'purambokku' land.

Petitioner states that this land was being occupied by the father of the petitioner for very many years and that large number of trees have been planted

on these lands. Petitioner submits that respondents 3 and 4 are trying to encroach these properties and annex the same to their land holding under the

cover of Re-survey proceedings in that area. In respect of these matters, the petitioner has preferred Ext.P1 before the 1st respondent.

Considering the limited nature of relief sought for in the writ petition, notice to respondents 3 and 4 is dispensed with. There will be a direction to the

1st respondent to take up Ext.P1 for consideration and take an appropriate decision thereon, after hearing the petitioner and respondents 3 and 4,

within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The proceedings relating to Re-survey of these lands, if any, will

necessarily abide by any decision that may be taken by the 1st respondent on Ext.P1.

The writ petition stands disposed of as above.
