Judgment
Heard Mr. O. Rantankumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. S. Suresh, learned ASG appearing for the respondents.
The learned counsel appearing for the respondents prays for granting some further time for filing counter affidavit on the ground that he got additional
instruction from the authority very recently. However, this prayer is objected to by the counsel for the petitioner on the ground that by order dated
04.03.2021, this Court has already been given 3(three) weeks time as last chance for filing their counter affidavit.
Be that as it may, in the interest of justice 4(four) weeks further time is given to the counsel for the respondent for filing their affidavit.
However, it is made clear that if the respondent fail to file their counter affidavit within these 4(four) weeks, they can file their counter affidavit only
after the payment of Rs.5,000/-(five thousand) only as cost to the High Court Bar Association, Manipur.
A copy of this order be furnished to both the counsel appearing for the parties through their respective e-mail/WhatsaAp.
