Judgment

The petitioner, who is working as an Assistant Professor (Music-Instrumental) at Government Degree College, Pangi at Killar, District Chamba,
H.P., has come up before this Court, seeking his transfer from the present place of posting to the station of his choice. In this regard, he has already
filed a representation dated Nil (Annexure P-3) to the respondent.
Notice. Ms. Ritta Goswami, learned Additional Advocate General, appears and accepts service of notice on behalf of the respondent/State.
In view of the nature of the order, we propose to pass, no response is required from the respondents.
Consequently, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondent, mentioning the fact of
medical condition of his mother, within one month from today, in accordance with the transfer policy. On receipt of such representation, the said
respondent shall decide the same sympathetically, in the light of the transfer policy occupying the field, within two weeks thereafter.
