A compliance affidavit has been filed by Mr. Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary, Irrigation Department. In paragraph no. 3 of the said affidavit, it has been stated that petitioner's representation was considered and rejected on 17.10.2017.
Since in pursuance of the order passed by Writ Court, petitioner's representation has been considered and rejected, therefore, nothing survives in this contempt petition.
Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed. Contempt notices issued to the respondents are hereby discharged.
