WPSB No. 444 of 2020, filed by the petitioner, was disposed of with a direction to Principal Secretary, Forest & Environment, Government of
Uttarakhand to consider petitioner’s representation within two weeks’.
A compliance affidavit has been filed by Mr. Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary, Forest & Environment Department, Government of
Uttarakhand. In para 8 of the said affidavit, it has been stated that decision on petitioner’s representation has been taken on 24.02.2021. Copy of
the said letter is enclosed as Annexure no. 2 to the said compliance affidavit.
In such view of the matter, the contempt petition is closed. Notice issued to the opposite party is hereby discharged.
