Heard Mr. N. Jotendro, learned senior counsel assisted by Syed Murtaza Ahmad, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA appearing for the respondents.

It has been submitted by the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner that the present writ petition can be disposed of by issuing a simple direction to the Joint Secretary (DP), Government of Manipur, to consider the representation dated 26-12-2023 submitted by the petitioner and to dispose of the same by issuing a speaking order within a stipulated period.

Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA appearing for the respondents submitted that as the petitioner has retired from service in the year 2003, he needs one week time to get instruction from the concerned authorities.

As prayed for by the learned GA, list this case again on 13-06-2025.
