Ahanthem Bimol Singh, J
Mr. T. Rajendra, learned counsel appeared for the petitioners and Mr. A. Vashum, learned Government Advocate appeared for the respondents. None appeared for the private respondents despite service of notice.
The learned Government Advocate prayed for granting three weeks further time as last chance for filing counter affidavit in respect of WP(C) No. 388 of 2021. This prayer is vehemently objected to by Mr. T. Rajendra, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners on the ground that this Court has already ordered earlier that no further time will be granted for filing counter affidavit.
Be that as it may, one last opportunity is given to the respondents to file their respective counter affidavit.
As prayed for, list these cases again on 20.01.2023. It is made clear that if the respondents failed to file their respective counter affidavit on or before the next date, the matters will be heard and disposed of on the basis of the material available on record.
