T.R. Ramachandran Nair, J.—The petitioner had undergone B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) Degree from the M.G. University during the year 2006-2010. The petitioner failed in two subject papers of his 8th semester by name Production Engineering (A) and Automobile Engineering (B). He appeared for the regular examinations held in May, 2010. The petitioner has applied for revaluation of the above two papers. Ext.P1 is the copy of the application for revaluation and Ext.P2 is the copy of chalan receipt. The main prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the University to complete the revaluation and publish the result of the subjects for which Ext.P1 application is filed, within a time frame.

Heard learned Standing Counsel for the University. It is submitted that sufficient time may be granted to complete the revaluation and inform the result to the petitioner.

There will be a direction to the University to complete the revaluation and inform the result to the petitioners within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, if the application and the payment of fee are in order and if the petitioner has complied with all other formalities.

The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
