Mr. A. Vashum, learned GA appearing for the respondents seeks two weeks’ time for filing counter affidavit.
Mr. H.S. Paonam, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the matter has been posted for consideration of the prayer for passing interim order. As the learned GA seeks some time for filing counter affidavit, this Court is of the considered view that it will be in the interest of justice to give one more chance to file counter affidavit.
As prayed for by the learned GA, list this case again on 06-04-2023. It is made clear that if the respondents failed to file their counter affidavit on or before the next date, the prayer for passing interim order will be considered on the next date.
